Gain New Skills Through CE Training Awards Program

Get funding for training and skill-building

赌钱app可以微信提现 Workforce Development & Continuing Education has funding available to train eligible Johnson County residents at little or no cost. Johnson County businesses may also qualify to receive funding for employee training.

Continuing Education Training Awards are generously funded through a variety of sources, including an allocation of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) to Johnson County and the 赌钱app可以微信提现基金会.

居民

  • Funding is for training and skill-building.
  • Must be unemployed or underemployed
  • Must be a Johnson County resident

企业

  • Funding is for employee training.
  • Covers 80% of the cost of training, up to $25,000

企业 must demonstrate the impact of COVID-19. Proof of impact includes:

  • Approval of PPP loan OR
  • Approval of EIDL loan OR
  • Decline in gross revenue of at least 20% between 2019 and 2020, and 2022 gross revenue did not surpass 2019 gross revenue.

Short-term training is available in many job categories
